The month of December holds a few birthdays in our family. My grandfather just turned 90 last week, Todd’s grandmother will be 98 this week, and my mom will be… well, I don’t think she’d like me to say (!)… next week.
So here are a few cards to share with you. They were made a little untraditionally.
Chipboard shapes from Maya Road formed the base for these cards.
The cupcake card was altered with paint, a sheet of text torn from an old book and patterned paper. Chipboard letters were painted and spelled out to say, "Wish." A Crop-a-Dile easily punched holes to bind two
cupcakes together. The felt beaded flower and ribbons are also from Maya Road. Stickles are from Ranger.
The second card is made using butterfly chipboard
shapes from Maya Road. The cover is layered with Michael Miller fabric paper, Fiskars flower, and chipboard #9. I didn’t have an 8 so decided to use two circular chipboard pieces to form that number! Ribbon from Maya Road
binds the two pieces of chipboard together.

Absolutely Gorgeous!!
