Carrie Colbert Batt explains her hiatus from the scrapbooking world here.  Also she tells what is bringing her back into the hobby.

Here are some free downloadable journaling cards available through A Million Memories.  Also, more can be found here.  These are great for printing out on cardstock or even clear transparencies.  One photo image is shown at right.

I never would have guessed that this night light image by Sue Clark was made with a stamp!  She replaced the plexiglass with mica and stamped on tissue paper which was adhered to the back of the mica. Very clever.

I love this little decoration by Little Miss Crafty – especially the tiny little pennant / bunting banner!  More pretty little displays can be seen here on her blog and in her Etsy shop.  Ohhh, this little canvas is turned into a table setting!

Karen Russell shows her handmade wedding album here.  I just love the look of this and the colours she used also – blue, cream and black are so lovely together.  One photo is also shown at right.

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful Fall weekend.  It is the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend right now so we are all looking forward to a great meal of turkey, candied yams, stuffing and pumpkin pie!  Wish you could all join us!  (Photo at right is of a "turkey" that Lochlan made in his preschool craft class this week. Photo at left is of a gorgeous changing colour tree at my Mom’s.)
