Giveaway: Online Class from A Million Memories

** This Giveaway is Now Closed **

A Million Memories is giving away a place in their latest online class to one ScrapScene reader.  Please read below for details:

A Million Memories is proud to present our newest online class, by Becca Lundin, called “Five Fall Favorites”.  This class will show you how to create a darling mini album showcasing your most treasured fall memories. When complete the album will measure 4×7 and be 14 pages thick. It holds tons of pictures and is full of techniques to create your own embellishments out of scraps and other product you might otherwise throw away.  The class is designed so that you can use products in your own stash, or you can purchase a kit through A Million Memories for a decent price to use the same products used in the book.  You can sign up for the class here.

For your chance to win a place in this class, please comment to this post.  Please tell us: do you decorate your house for the fall season, Halloween, or Thanksgiving?  Do you make any of your decorations? We will keep comments open until Sunday, October 19th at midnight EST.  A random winner will be announced on Monday, October 20th.

I decorate in fall/Thanksgiving. I am not too into Halloween so I find more generic fall, thanks, blessings type decorations and then I decorate in late September and it stays until until the day after Thanksgiving when I decorate for Christmas.
    Love fall.

Yes I decorate for the Fall-so love Halloween and Thanksgiving. Most all of my decorations are homemade by myself and all the grandbabies. It’s a yearly tradition for us all to have goods eats, treats and make decorations the first week of Fall. I call it Grammy’s Fall Harvest Party lol!

I love to decorate this time of year! I bring out the fall decor in August, switch to the Halloween stuff in October, Thanksgiving stuff in November and Christmas stuff in December! Love to make things too & get my kids crafting with me!!!!

Not really – when the kids were younger we did for Halloween – but it is always still so hot around here – we don’t put pumpkins out – they rot too quickly.

I do however have some darling themed door decorations I made for each season!

We do not celebrate Halloween and Thanksgiving here, but the fall seems to be in our house. We use pumpkins, leaves and chestnuts to decorate. We also decorate with (fake) mushrooms. Nothing homemade so far (have to get trough that stash of pics before I start making home decor items……)

We decorate for Halloween and some for Thanksgiving. When the kids were younger we would make a lot of the decorations. Wow I would love to be the lucky stamper to when this sweet giveaway. I need all the help I can get to do something like this. Thanks so much for a chance.

I usually decorate for the whole fall season in one fell swoop with harvest themed decor–pumpkins, scarecrows, leaves, cornstalks and such like. My favorite thing to do is design a new for-this-season wreath for the side of my house!!

I certainly do decorate for Fall…it is my most favorite time of the year. We have a collection of both homemade and store bought (mostly craft store) bought decorations for inside and out. Nothing better than a beautiful crisp fall day in NY!

I love to decorate for Christmas mostly. This year we went a little overboard with Halloween decoration soutside as the kids are older and want the decorations to be scary but I had no time this year to make anything.

Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the changing colors, smell of burning leaves, and the fresh crispness in the air. I love to bring in leaves from the outdoors and light candles to heightened the smells and flavors of the season. Homemade soups and stews add to the ambiance.

I craft MANY of the items myself. I am even now waiting for a clear coat of sealer to dry on ONE last Halloween craft, well wait, I also have an almost completed embroidery project that I need to turn into a tiny pillow for a Halloween gift, and …

I do love starting to decorate in the fall. Before Halloween we put a store bought scarecrow and hay bale outside. I bought a fake carvable pumpkin and poked 4 holes in it and stuck of bunches of silk flowers in it. My kids and I colored wood halloween ornaments and made felt puppets too! For thanksgiving we still have real pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and add dried corn etc. I love all the luscious fall colors!

We decorate for all three. This is my favorite time of year. I put out a few things I have made (like project kits) and our yard gets decorated also. My boyfriend made yard decorations out of wood. Like a giant pumpkin lit from behind for Halloween and a pig holding a sign that reads ‘Eat Turkey’ and pointing at the turkey sitting next to him for Thanksgiving….and more.

In South Africa Halloween is becoming more popular. Last year about 100 children joined in the trick and treating we arranged. People decorate their homes with candles and even make up little parcels of treats for the children. So nice to see some people really getting into the spirit of fun!

I don’t usually decorate for fall, but my little girl’s birthday is in october and she loves Halloween, so we decorate BIG for her party and usually keep the decorations up for quite a while. Since we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here in Germany, we seem to move from Halloween right on to Christmas decorations.

I do decorate for fall/Thanksgiving, love the season, although I am in AZ we dont’ get much color change here where I live and it’s still hot, I think we are at 95 degrees today, but I do have pumpkins on the porch with various red and orange flowers and also have a pretty centerpeice on my dining room table and also have a wire tree that I decorate differently each season/holiday. One of the cutest and easiest decorations I’ve seen is a roll of toilet tissue and two fat quarters of material. You wrap the toilet tissue by putting it in the toilet tissue in the middle of the halloween or fall fabric. In the middle of the roll you tuck the fabric into that hole. Then take a green fat quarter and stuff it into the hole to make the stem of the pumpkin. I also love to decorate the house in decorations I’ve made in other classes.

I love to decorate for the holidays! This year I created about 6 new decorations for my home using scrap stuff, wood projects, etc….can’t wait to use them all!!! And I LOVE this cute book at AMM–you guys have the best class subjects!
