I’ve tried the art journaling, but only my “not professional” way. This class sounds great.

  12. Posted 5 years, 9 months ago | Permalink

The thing I love about art journaling is all the different crazy techniques!

  13. Posted 5 years, 9 months ago | Permalink

I have always journaled. Not always so fancy where it would be considered an “art Journal” but there is doodling on like every page back when I was younger. I don’t always have a set subject. It turns out better when I don’t. The colors inspire the subject, and I let it go from there.

I just started my first art journal recently. It’s a natural extension for me, since I have kept journals on and off my whole life, and it just goes with scrapbooking so well. I tend to just go with whatever moves me at the time, sort of as I do in scrapbooking. So I usually don’t have a plan in advance – I just wing it. This class looks awesome! Thanks for a chance to win!

I love to look at other people’s art journaling projects. But I never seem to do it myself. I don’t know why. I think I need to make that a goal for myself.

I started a “Book of Me” a few years back. It is a total “let free” and do whatever inspires me to do at any moment I pick it up. I love that no rules – anything goes – don’t follow norms – is applicable to this book. It would be an honor to win this class!

I have been keeping journals for the last 4 and a half years. It all started when my husband was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma..I lost him a year ago and I still journal, left to raise our 3 daughters I have many difficult days of being a single parent and a survivng spouse. So I really think that this would be a great way to work through my grief process and finally get back to my creative side that was put on hold for so long..To use so many things that have been just sitting there in my room would be just great (just need to remove the Irish lace that has formed from the cob webs, it’s been that long) (**Laughing**)
Journaling is a great way for me to utlimately get moving towards making his book on his life of 41 yrs. on this earth..Thank you for doing this class…

I’ve had an “art” journal since I was 14. It has taken various forms over the decades, but it’s always been a combination of drawing, photos and lots of writing from the heart (diary like). It’s been very therapeutic … and a great source of information. It’s also a very private place, so I never post pictures it. Would love to be part of this class – thank you for your generosity.
