When complete the album will measure 5×5 and be 13 pages thick. You will learn to use many techniques such as beeswax, Glimmermist and plenty of stamping. You will be able to purchase a kit for this class, or you can use products from your own scrapbooking stash.   The best part about this class is that Hilde will not only show you her journal and guide you through the techniques that she used, but she will encourage and guide you through making it completely about YOU and YOUR ART.  You can purchase the class HERE. I am a beginner to all this and find it fascinating. I love everything about it. I just don’t know where to begin. I need visual inspiration and this sounds like a class is the perfect solution. But I can’t afford to take a class so winning would definately be a blessing and a kick-start into a world of beautiful art I want to enter into. Thanks for the chance.

I’ve had an “art” journal since I was 14. It has taken various forms over the decades, but it’s always been a combination of drawing, photos and lots of writing from the heart (diary like). It’s been very therapeutic … and a great source of information. It’s also a very private place, so I never post pictures it. Would love to be part of this class – thank you for your generosity.

I absolutely love anything shabby chic. I have never done an art journal, and am very intrigued by it. I do know that I am a journaling fanatic. We have 5 kids, so I always have lots of journaling to do.
