Glitter Stamping on Acrylic

Today is Day Two of Vicki Flinchum‘s tutorials.  Today she is showing us how to glitter stamp on acrylic.  Please see yesterday’s post for Vicki’s previous tutorial on making a match box card kit.  And, don’t forget to visit her blog here.

Materials:

Acrylic (transparency works also)

Staz On Glue Pad

Stamp

DoodleBug Glitter (or other of your choice)

Make sure the acrylic surface is clean, free of dirt and fingerprints. Ink stamp with Staz On Glue Pad and stamp acrylic. Sprinkle on glitter and let it sit for several minutes. Tamp off excess glitter. Let glue dry thoroughly before handling stamped piece. Use as you like!

    Hi there

I went and purchased this pad after seeing your article. Can you tell me though what else you can do with it other than glitter, and we left it for about an hour and the glitter when touched fell off the project? I would have thought that once dry it would have been “stuck” on the project?
Would love your help and ideas on this.
    Many thanks
