Board Book Albums LLC is giving away 3 white board book albums to ScrapScene readers! Please read through to the bottom of this post for details of the giveaway.
Board Book Albums LLC is proud to offer a new chunky board book style photo album that can be used by small children, big kids, and adults alike. The "Take Your Pix" photo album (patent pending) has sturdy pages, into which photos can be inserted from an opening in the top of the pages. Unlike other albums, these albums have thick sturdy pages that are perfect for little kids to handle (like the chunky little kids books). Notches have been added to the page edges to facilitate page turning. The photo album is 7" x 7" with 10 pages. It holds 20 4" x 6" photos and has a cover photo frame that holds a slightly smaller photo (about 4" x 5", so you can just trim a 4" x 6" photo to fit).
The albums could be used by little ones to keep all their favorite photos or to record memorable events. Moms and other grownups could make scrapbooks, or customize and decorate the albums for special occasions, to give as gifts, etc. The solid white albums are great for scrapbooking or decorating yourself. Kids would have a great time decorating their own books with stickers, stamps, or markers. In early November we will have pink, blue, and yellow albums titled “My First Photos” in stock. These albums would be perfect for toddlers or to give as baby shower gifts. We plan to offer the albums in other styles and colors in the future. Please feel free to make suggestions or share ideas about products that you would like to see in our store. Happy Scrapbooking!!
Please see our website to order online at www.boardbookalbums.com.

What a cool board book idea! It’d make a nice frame to store fav cards you’ve made or rec’d, or to scrapbook pics of family events too! Thanx for the blog candy opp!
This would be perfect to give to a grandchild who lives far away so he would have pictures of extended family he sees rarely …. perfect size and shape for a young child who is familiar with board books aleady – this is his board book about his family!
I would use it for singel girls tips and trix. My daughter just got singel and she told me about how her friends did give her some lessons about the singel girls life. I am planing to do an album for her, but this one look so perfekt.

What a fun book! What a cool idea! Got a friend who is having a little girl soon. I’d decorate this up with girly patterned papers, flowers, ribbons and lace for a New Baby Book!
Happy Labor Day!
My great niece is having her first baby and this would be great to make a cute little brag album for her to show off her little one. Thanks for a chance.
OMG….I would love to have one of these! I have 5 kids- one just started college, one just started HS, only one is a daughter, and 2 are identical twin boy 2 1/2 yr olds who are mildly autistic. The twins use books I make them to identify things they need or want since they don’t talk yet. I have been wanting to make them personalized ABC books and this would be perfect!
Thank you for the chance to win such a cool album!!!!
What a clever idea! I think I would make a travel journal of when my sister and I vacationed in Paris last summer.
Great album. I’d make one of my baby’s family and relatives, so she and recognize them and knows she is loved.
Wow! they are cute! i’d use them for my little girl!!! With lots of buttons and cupcakes!!!
These books would be great for making albums about a 1 day trip or something. Thanks for giving me the chance to win.
Have a great Labor Day,
~Amber~
We have taken a few camping and hiking trips this summer I think it would be great to showcase these. I am not sure how I would embellish it, that would depend on what inspiration hit me with it in hand.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday
Theresa
Love the notches in the album! They look like lots of fun to use
I think it would be fun to take animal pics to put in the photo holder and then cover w/ animal sticker and primary color cardstock. A cute book for toddlers, the love naming animals!
Happy Labor Day! These books are fabulous! I have a new puppy and I sure would like to scrap his coming home and first few weeks with us! Please…
Wow!
What a cool idea! I simply loved this book and hope to be the winner!
Happy holiday for everyone!
)
If i had a boardbook, I would make a family book for my one year old grandson filled with pictures of his grandparents, aunts, and uncles, and parents, and pets. We live in a different state, so it would help him remember all of us! I would use bright. colorful papers, and sturdy embellishments to hold up under little hands!
Wow – what a great idea. I’d love something like this to scrap my dog’s puppyhood so that we’re always reminded of what she is like, especially 20 years down the road when she is not likely to be with us anymore.
Great idea! If I win I’ll either make an album about my pets or of the cards I’ve received from message board friends. As far as embellishments, all the usual ones: flowers, buttons, brads, ribbon, etc…
How versatile! I love making chunky books of my 3 year old. We have so many great photos that I’d have no problem filling these up.
I would use this type of album for my mother-in-law has Parksonian-like symptoms and has a hard time turning pages, please she is going blind and with the pictures being that size, she could look them of her Grandkids and Great grandkids…..she would love this as she loves her pictures and has a very difficult time seeing who is who these days, she is almost 90 years old and still lives alone since the death of her husband 5 years ago….I would decorate it simply so that she wouldnt be afraid to look at it frequently…Thank you for such a generous RAK
Would love to win one of these. I have never done a mini-album but I think I’m ready to try one. The subject would be my children and grandchildren. I would decorate each page to match the personality of each one. On the granddaughters would definitely use lots of swirls, ribbons, and bling. The two younger boys would have cars and trucks as the main embellishment elements. I have some that I am so ready to use for that. With my older DGS it would be basketball as that is his main love.
Oh, as soon as I saw this I knew exactly what i could do with this! I have been thinking about creating a mini album of my sons first year! He will be turning 1 on October 29th, so this would be perfect timing for me! I am going to do a page for each first milestone: smile, hold head up, sits up, first word, waving, first food, first crawl, first turning over, first steps, first …you get the idea! I will decorate the album using a consistent line of scrapbooking papers…of which I have not quite decided on! I am leaning towards the Basic Grey Boxer papers or making memories Jack line of papers.
I would love the opportunity to create something that would show how awesome these mini books truly are!
What a great book. I’d love to be able to decorate one with cool papers and embellishments! Such possibilities.
Those albums are soo neat! What a fun idea. I would make a family album. Having pics of relatives that my kids don’t get to see as often. Since they live across the country. That way when the kids meet them, they will recognize them, and know who their aunts and cousins are.
This would have been great when my children were smaller, as I would put family and friend pictures into a small album that they could look through and point to and talk about who was in them. I would be very careful w/ embellies if it’s for wee ones and stick to hardboard stickers and rubs as you would not want little fingers prying them off and ending up choking on them! Thanks for the chance to win!
This would be the perfect type of album for my granddaughter to work on. The notches would make it so much easier for her to turn the pages. She likes to collect brochures from places we visit, cut her favorite characters from cereal boxes, pick up leaves etc from walks and then use these items on her scrapbook pages along with photos. And she’s only 6! She’s definitely on her way to being a creative scrapbooker. This album would be a great asset! Nice job!
I love the concept! It would be great for making “People who love me” album for my 1 year old nephew that lives thousands of miles away from us. To decorate the album I would go with paints and stamps, maybe some felt but nothing that can easily be ripped of
Thi would be perfect for my 2 year old – I have been searching for this very thing!
aahh…i have a trip to hawaii planned for a family wedding in november and this would be PERFECT for the vacation pics!
with tons of colored papers and i see ribbon tabs sticking out all over, too.
so cute!
As a new grandmother, I would make this board book album for Sawyer placing pictures of his family members (grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins) with their names. Decorations would be representative of each family member. For example, Grandpa Chet would have mail (rural letter carrier), horses, cows, tractors, etc. Cousin Tresa would have medical objects since she is a doctor. Oh, my! I need one of these! Thanks for the chance to win!
What a cute little book! I would probably use it for my son’s 3rd birthday coming up.
What a great book! These books would be great for making albums about a short trip.
Those books look wonderful!!! I love that they have notches to help turn the page!!!
I have some photos of a trip to the aquarium I would love to do up in a book for my son! He loves looking at books of the adventures we take!!!!
My subject matter would be Halloween. I would use flat embellishments for the inside pages. Each page would have a different pattern paper and embellishment. On the cover I would use some Halloween fabric papper and add 3-D embellishments.
The structured organization of these chubby books would make an ideal album for recording a child’s early school year, with slots for photos and school artwork samples, etc, plus room to add titles and dates.
I would do a band album for my son’s first year with the marching band:)
What a great idea! I love it! I would make just an easy one at first with family pics and easy decorations that wouldn’t come off in it so my 19 mth old could look at it! He loves the chunky board books!
Cute! I would have to make a book about my baby boy with my fav baby paper by MM.
hi! love these board books!!!
i’m gonna use one for my son to create his own scrapbook!

thanks for the RAK opp!!!

I have some happy birthday embellies that I’ve been saving… A couple pages explaining how Mommy had a carnival circus theme with carnival prizes…. All the kids playing with the squirtling water tubes….. And more….

I Scrap So All Moments Are Remembered!!!
at the moment my 5 year old is learning how to read and write some basic words.. I want to create a board book with these words for him in a fun way so he ‘wants’ to use them and read them. I would use lots of boyish papers and some glossy accents to decorate it! I also want to create a board book about our first home… hmm choices!
i would love to use this album with my 6-year-old son’s goofy pictures and i will embellish it with little boy themed patterned papers and lots and lots of felt toys shapes.
oh these board books are adorable – I would make an alphabet book for my granchildren – using photos of objects and scrapbook sullpies.
Ooooooh, I love mini books, and these board books look fabulous!! We just threw a surprise party for my Mom’s 70th and this would be a great way to put together the photos from that special day. Those pages look like they could be inked and stamped and oh I don’t know what else! But I’d love to try them out!
those are very cool I would love to win one.
Lovely looking album, I would be tempted to add a little colour in the way of rubons or buttons but other wise it is great the way it is
Wow! What a great album!! I think It would make a great album for my mom! Great giveaway, thanks!
Awesome album!!! I think I would use it for my son’s first year college adventure…moving day, dorm room, friends, classes, etc. Thanks for a great giveaway!!!
That would be really fun to use as a family book (pictures of all the cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents..) for a child.
Absolutely fantastic idea, i have not heard of these albums before, don’t know if i can get them here in Australia, will have to go and do a Google search now i think. hopefully i might get one in the mail from the U, wink, wink ! Thanks for the opportunity to win one !
I am so excited to see these. My son (14 months) has become totally fasinated by books. I feel like I have read every board book in my house like a million times! He loves his scrapbook too, but Mommy is way to scared to leave it out for his little hands. This is the perfect solution. Josh loves to look at pictures of himself as a baby and of family members. I would love to make him a book with his “baby” pictures as well as things in his world. Breakout the patterned paper and thickers and diecuts! Thanks so much for such a great product.
I would make a book for my little step-grandaughter who lives across the country in denver, so she could see her family in North Carolina, embellishing with fun beachy type things since that is something that she doesnt have in colorado.
what a cute mini album! I’d definitely paint it red and go from there.
I’d embellish it with my favorite supply: paint! And the subject would likely be my beloved home, NYC!
Great books, would love to have one of those. I have two daughters so it’s pink and girly embellishments all the way.
Oh, I love the board books!
I would use it for my A-Z Photo of the Day that we’re doing over at AMR for the month of September. I would make a great A-Z book!
I would also love to do one in a pet theme. I have four birds, two dogs, and a cat, so there are plenty of pet pictures happening at my house!
These are awesome. Could definitely use something like this to document the cross country trip my daughter and I made two weeks ago.
These books are really cool! I can see one done up as an A-B-C book for toddlers!
These look like too much fun – my parents just built a new house and I’ve been looking for a way to make a little memento to showcase their new home – this would work beautifully!
What a great book. Would love to create something fun for my two girls or a book about family near and far. I also think it would make a wonderful book about school. memories.
I know several floks have had the same idea but I have to say it again. this book is perfect for long distance family. I have made an ABC book containing pictures of family for my nephews to help them remember everyone as well as learn thier ABCs and I have also made some with just the pictures of the family as well. (I made them out of ID badge holders)
The minute I saw this I knew it would be perfect for my grandaughters first birthday in Oct. She is in Texas and is not going to get to know all of us as well (everyone is here in Az and she is all the way over in Tx
I love the Daisy D’s nursery paper as well as the fun DCWV Nursery stack for this. Wouldn’t it be great! Maybe mix it up with some K& Co.
Love this book!!! I’d make my niece a birthday book with it.
i think this is such a great idea! it’d be nice for a child’s bday party (a quick craft for the kids to enjoy and remember the bday party fun). this would also be nice to use as a family album to display (once it’s been embellished etc). that way the kids can brag about it and show it off without breaking or tearing it.
This would be a perfect album to make for my great neice with pictures of all her relatives. They are living several states away from us and don’t get to visit often. She will be a year old soon, so this would be great for her to be able to handle and remember us.
What great little books!! I think they would be great to do a yearly book for each of my grandchildren, highlighting each childs special times of the past year.
I’ve been meaning to do a book of my son’s fave’s and this would be perfect!
I love these books, I have been meaning to alter an old board book for at least a year, this is much better, a white canvas! – I would make an alphabet book for my three year old son, with pictures of things around our house. Just perfect.
Would love to have one of this. Thank you
those would be so fun to decorate– I think I would use it for my baby girls birth book.
There are so many things I could do with that. Would love to have one. Good luck everyone
These are great! My kids (2 and 4) love it when I make books about them and our family, but them can be rough on traditional paper pages. I would love to make them an album of their summer events with this – lots of brights and touchable embellies!
The whiteness feels so ’still’, it seems more like a reflection album to me.
I’d love to do side by side photo layouts of my daughter 13yrs, and me at her age. We look so similar. She has such a tranquility about her – the white album would reflect this with subdued colours, lacework and watercolour. I’ve never seen anything like this before.
I don’t quite know why but I’ve got Halloween on the mind. This would make a great Halloween book! I could either do I book of all of our different costumes over the years or just document this year’s festivities–using some cool halloween papers/embellies of course.
The board books look great. I would like to make a journal using creative acrylic ideas I have been seeing.
Those books are freakinn awesome. They would be perfect for my upcoming Disney trip.
great idea this would be wonderful made into a wedding anniversary album. 25th or 50th. just the right amout of pages.
These are SO neat! I would use them for a single-day event like our trip in to Boston on Saturday this passed weekend! I am really loving mini books right now!
I would love to have one of these for a recent trip I took to Chicago. My sister was walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day there so a bunch of my family members travelled from MN to see her. It would be the perfect mini album (which I love right now) to have as a special momento of the adventure!
Wow! These are really fun board books. If I had one, I think I would decorate it and add photos of my niece and nephews to keep on my desk to show off. How fun that would be instead of all these photo frames everywhere taking up space!!
My one year old loves books. He loves to eat them, though. I would definitely use one of these books to make an album of family members for him. That would allow me to teach him names of family he doesn’t see very often. He loves to look at books with photographs on his own, so I know it’s something he would love.
Wow they are so neat!! Would love to use it to make a mini about my dearest pictures of 2008.
Those look great!! I would do an album with some family pictures. I might paint the pages, then embellish the album with lots of cool ephemera and vintage stuff.
LOVE this idea… what a cool album!!
Fun books that I would love to win!
I’d use the book for our trips up to Lake Superior, we love it there. I’d use all kinds of lake/beach/water embellishments, ribbons, maybe even some real sand that we’ve brought home.
Claudia
scfranson@charter.net
I love these! I would have to use one to make my son a family book in case he gets homesick at school. I have some stamp sets and paint that would work really well.
Great idea and great give away. I’d make one for my mother whom I can only visit 1-2 times a year. She barely know her grand children!
I do not have one of these board books but would love to get one.
I would decorate one using all kinds of embellisments. Would like to try different techniques that I have learned.
Linda Peterson
I haven’t used any Board Book albums yet, but I think they look great and I would like to win one. Greetings from Belgium, Annelies
I would definitely use it for a Spanish words book for my youngest son. I’d use paint and scrapbooking papers (decoupage), and all sorts of goodies!
These albums look wonderful. I would love to win one of them!!!lol
What a wonderful product! And thanks for the chance to win one!! This would be perfect for my little niece. I would put pictures of the people in her family into the album and embellish with bright papers. Since she’s so little, I wouldn’t use any tiny embellishments that could be swallowed, although I think adding buttons & ribbon would be great if the book were to be used by either an older child or an adult.
Kerry Morgan
These really look great. I think I’d like to do one of my baby pictures-my children know so little about me growing up, it would be a fantastic way to tell the story.
This would be a great project. I pretty much stick to just layouts and cards, so winning this would give me a chance to create something like a year in review album that I’ve thought about doing for a while. Good luck to everyone!
I still have all my wedding cards and this type of album seems to be calling for them to be stored inbetween the pages. Incidently the cards are almost 25 years old (put 2 and 2 together!)
I am going to be a Grandma for the first time this Spring and this would be perfect for me to have as a brag book!!
What fun to think through my idea for making a photo journal for my youngest son using one of your books! I would love to embellish the backgrounds using old school work papers, drawings etc. from his youth. Then on to decorating the pages using stamps and journaling tags for further embellishment. I would also like to incorporate a blank area for my son to add further comments about his fantastic growing-up years. My son is now 30 years of age! YIKES!!! Where did those years go??
I would use this for favorite pictures of my girls.. maybe over a specific time period (summer, winter etc) Lots of pink and flowers would be involved!
Too many options for what to use the book for! I think I would use it for highlights of my vacation this summer – subject to change, of course!
What a great idea! I would use my board book album to record my trip to Seagrove Beach.
These are just wonderful!
These books look neat. If I had one, I’d probably doctor is up with some pretty patterned paper and flowers. My theme? Why, one of my vacations, of course!
great books! hope i win one!
I would finally work on my Disney trip if I had one of these albums! I have some really great red, black and yellow paper to use for that album.
Hey…these are cool board books. If I had one, I think my album would be about “My Cool Toronto”…that’s where I am vacationing right now as I read this!
awesome books!
Hi!
Since I just had my second baby, I would make an album comparing my two kids at this beginning! I really love baby stuff and by now I am so in love with fabric… I guess I could use lots and lots of beautiful fabric!
Great books, so much fun to play with! If I had one, I’ll probably make a travel theme for my past vacations, I have numerous stickers and embelllishments with travel theme from diff brands, so it will be good to use them in this book.
Awesome books if I had one I would make it a storybook about my travel to NZ from South Africa as a child on our family yacht and use papers from Kaisercraft and Heidi swapp that have a nautical travel feel about them as well as matching embellishments
I love this idea. my mom just had a special 80th birthday party, so I think it would be perfect to put captured fun and friends into this 20 pic book! It’s not too big to tote out of a cupboard, and can be left out for coffee table viewing & conversation.
WOW, how awesome!! My daughter just turned 16, so I would make a mini album about her birthday using the new line from 3 bugs in a rug – Color me Pink!
These are some of the coolest board books I’ve seen, they look like great quality too! I’ve been wanting to make a mini album about all the funny names my 3 children have for things.
These are awesome! I would make a book for guests, telling them the funny things in and around our house
I am liking all this new stuff. I can’t wait to get my hands on some.
Those new boardbooks are too good to be true!! the alter artist in me is screaming!!! l want a few or them…no, I want a case of them!! Let’s see, I could scrap a few, put b&w’s in a few, alter a few, paint a few, heck I could display my atcs in a few…i could go on and on with ideas for those bbs…ok, i’ll calm down now but wait…i could emboss, ink, watercolor, sew, grunge, collage…ok, i’ll stop now before you really think i’m crazy:)
thanks for the chance to win!
i’ll just go lay down now to rest my weary head and dream sweet bbs dancing in my head!
I love that board book… How cute !!!!
Awesome board books!!
The only thing I could suggest would be to used different colors. It does not have to be white and it can still be kinda see through. Since they would be fun to use by kids, color would be great.thanks! Hope I can win one of these they look so much fun!
very nice book!!! I’m already inspired!
i love my mini books … my next one plans to be my line dancing exploits .. we do lots of fancy dress nights and things like that – so i’d like to do that
I’d embelish it with lots and lots of ribbons – as i LOVE using these in my mini books
Thanks for this opportunity!
This is such a great idea! I’ve been considering doing an album for and/or with my 3-year-old daughter, but didn’t know the best way to make is preschooler-proof
outside of laminating plain pages. She has grandparents and cousins (and others) that she talks about but who live far away and, like all kids her age, loves things that are “hers.” Too perfect!
