Go. Be Creative is giving away a September kit to a ScrapScene reader!  Please read through to the bottom of this post for details on the giveaway.

"Little ones tottering off to the big yellow bus for the first day of school reminds me of all of the things I learned way back in kindergarten. Think back to those school house lessons we were given so long ago and; Go. Be nice to each other; Go. Share with each other; Go. Listen to each other; Go. View the world around you with wonder and awe; and Go. Be creative!"

One of my favorite teachers was Mrs. Gaulin, my 4th grade teacher. She rescued me one day from a classmate who decided to show me that he liked me by biting my arm. She even let me wipe my tears on her shirt. I have never created a layout about her but perhaps I will since the memory is so vivid, even though I don’t have a photo of her.

My favourite teacher was welsh. He taught science. He had a gorgeous accent and the looks to match. I thought he was just the bees knees. I don’t remember what he talked ABOUT, because I didn’t particularly like science, but I DO remember HIM (and his name, but I’m not sharing that !)
    LOL

I can’t remember my favorite subject–such a long time ago it seems!! I do remember my favorite teachers: Mrs. Whitt, Mr. Owen, Mr. Larkin, and Mr. Collier (english, science, band, and band). I haven’t scrapped any of my stuff yet…maybe after I catch up on the the albums for my kids!

My fav. teacher was my 5th grade teacher – Miss Archambaut. She let us do alot of creative things in class to enhance our learning. We even all brought in our stuffed animals, made a zoo, had the kids in the school tour ‘the zoo’ & learn about the animals – which we memorized! We always had fun & I learned the most from her class.

My favorite subject was English and my favorite teacher was Miss Smith-my English teacher for 2 years in high school. She was an extraordinary woman, crippled by polio as a child and a very diminutive lady, she made members of the offensive line tremble by just looking at them. But she loved and believed in me when no one else in teh world did. I’ve never done a layout about her and I should. Thanks for reminding me.

My favorite subject in school was English but I never scrapbooked about it. Probably because I didn’t scrapbook back then. If I was in school now, it would be so much fun to scrapbook everything!

My very favorite subject was always english and spelling. My favorite teacher was the teacher I had for the 5th grade, Mr. Eubanks…he was a kindly, older gentleman and always reminded me of my grandfather. I havent’ scrapped any of my school memories yet, but I might if I win this kit…LOL!!! It’s beautiful!

I loved 9th grade English with Mr. Dowd. He made it so much fun! He would dress up like a literary character and act out controversial scenes from books. His class was so much fun because you never knew what he was going to do next.

My favourite teacher was Miss McIntosh, a wonderful Scottish lady who could weave interesting tales out of any historical period, even the political stuff which wasn’t my favourite bit, I always wanted to listen and because she was so encouraging it made me work that little bit harder. She deserves remembering.

Hello to all… and again, thanks for the opportunity to comment. My favorite class was English. Being a second language for me, I found it so fascinating to be able to communicate in a different way… I loved it all… I was part of the English Club, and of course, most of the time, the English teacher was my favorite. I remember one teacher specifically who was so cool and really inspired students to learn, Mr. Lomena. I have never scrapbooked about this… I’m kind of a newbie yet scrappin’ more recent topics but I definitely have some things about my past pending to scrap, and this would be one of them.

My favorite teacher in elementary school was Mr. Bush. If we all finished our class work, he would take us outside to play kick ball or baseball or ??? That was a great motivator for everyone to finish their work.
In HS my favorite teacher was Mrs. Ash. I had her for many office classes. She was amazing, kind, supportive, yet still had high expectations for her students.

When I was growing up I loved to write. When I was a Freshman in HS I had an English teacher named Mr. Gouge who really encouraged and praised me, from then on I always loved my English classes. He inspired me to continue working harder ~ Amazing how praise can make you work harder. 🙂

My favorite teacher was Mr. Mrak, my 5th grade teacher! My next favorite was actually my daughters last year 5th grade teacher. She was beyond amazing!

I had a lot of great teachers, but if I had to choose a favourite it would be my freshman year Physics teacher Dr Hunter. He was an awesome teacher, a great mentor and a very nice person!

As for my favourite subject in school – well I loved science and math. Of all the sciences and math though Physics tops the list – I know kind of strange but that is me. I really should scrap about it.

My favorite teacher was my 4th grade teacher. She recognized that four of us needed some enrichment and gave us special projects to do without making us stand-out from the rest of the class. She was sensitive to each child’s needs and read to us everyday. This was many, many years ago, but she made a big difference in my life.
