I LOVED literature and my Fave teacher for that was Dr. Judy Roberts when I was a senior in high school. I also loved law classes in college. I had to take several. have to say that i took a mandatory world civ class in college- took it in the summer to be done with it. but my teacher was the best- he made the whole class so interesting, he must have loved teaching, he was a boat salesman that subsidized his income by teaching summer classes. i enjoyed that class because he made it seem not a dry….:)

My favorite subjects in school were reading and art! I think my favorite teacher was my Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Bershad! I remember she has the coolest mother of pearl cat eye glasses with rhinestones on the corners! When I had to get glasses, I tried to find some just like them, but they didn’t have those frames for children! I really should do a scrapbook page about that. Thanks for the memory!!

I had a wonderful English teacher in 9th grade. He made me feel like I could write well, become published… and go as far as I wanted to in the writing field. I’m still working on it – and I’ll NEVER forget his kindness and encouragement to a lonely girl.

  18. Posted 5 years, 11 months ago | Permalink

I had a few favorite teachers, but one that stands out is my 6th grade teacher Mrs. Cannon. She was a beautiful person inside and out and was fantastic at teaching not just basic school stuff, but how to be nice to each other!
I plan on doing a favorite teachers page, first I have to find alittle more hours in my days!!! ahaha

My favorite was my 6th grade teacher, Mrs Peterson. Everyone loved her because she always had a smile on her face and never raised her voice. When she came by my desk she would play with my hair and tell me how pretty it was (it was really long at the time). At that time I was very shy so I was the target of a lot of mean little boys. I didn’t feel pretty at the time, but Mrs Peterson always encouraged me and I started to gain a little confidence because of her. About 25 years later my sister and I ran into her in a local store and she actually called both of us out by name. I was impressed; how she recognized us now that we’re grown, not to mention looking nothing like we did as kids, I will never know. She was still the sweet, sweet lady I remembered. Thanks Mrs Peterson…wherever you are :)

My favorite subject…Art of course :)

Oh…my fifth grade teacher..Mrs. Hullum. I had her for English. But…the best part, my youngest daughter came along-30 years later and had her for English. I scrapped a page with the picture of me with the teacher and my daughter with the teacher. Along with the pic of me,my mom, the teacher/ me, my daughter and the teacher. It was a great memory page for me!!
Funny thing…the teacher kept calling my daughter by my name! :)

My favorite subject was Home Ec. in high school. I took them all and got almost perfect in each of them. Mrs. Packer was my teacher in the classes and she was awesome. Soft spoken and so kind and giving to her students. She never got angry despite some of the tricks that students would try and pull on her. You could she her frustration, but she always maintained her composure and her kind, gentle way. Every student should have an opportunity to have a teacher like that in their life to guide and mentor them!

My favorite classes were Home Economics, and I got an award for taking the most classes when I was a Senior…I took Sewing every year as my Elective for four years. I also loved Art. I’ve never scrapbooked a page about this.

I loved science class and all of the experimenting…especially physics at the amusement park. Don’t know if I have any pictures but that could be a great lo.
    Love the kit!

One of my favorite teachers was Mrs. Gaulin, my 4th grade teacher. She rescued me one day from a classmate who decided to show me that he liked me by biting my arm. She even let me wipe my tears on her shirt. I have never created a layout about her but perhaps I will since the memory is so vivid, even though I don’t have a photo of her.

My favourite teacher was welsh. He taught science. He had a gorgeous accent and the looks to match. I thought he was just the bees knees. I don’t remember what he talked ABOUT, because I didn’t particularly like science, but I DO remember HIM (and his name, but I’m not sharing that !)
    LOL

I can’t remember my favorite subject–such a long time ago it seems!! I do remember my favorite teachers: Mrs. Whitt, Mr. Owen, Mr. Larkin, and Mr. Collier (english, science, band, and band). I haven’t scrapped any of my stuff yet…maybe after I catch up on the the albums for my kids!

My fav. teacher was my 5th grade teacher – Miss Archambaut. She let us do alot of creative things in class to enhance our learning. We even all brought in our stuffed animals, made a zoo, had the kids in the school tour ‘the zoo’ & learn about the animals – which we memorized! We always had fun & I learned the most from her class.

My favorite subject was English and my favorite teacher was Miss Smith-my English teacher for 2 years in high school. She was an extraordinary woman, crippled by polio as a child and a very diminutive lady, she made members of the offensive line tremble by just looking at them. But she loved and believed in me when no one else in teh world did. I’ve never done a layout about her and I should. Thanks for reminding me.

My favorite subject in school was English but I never scrapbooked about it. Probably because I didn’t scrapbook back then. If I was in school now, it would be so much fun to scrapbook everything!

My very favorite subject was always english and spelling. My favorite teacher was the teacher I had for the 5th grade, Mr. Eubanks…he was a kindly, older gentleman and always reminded me of my grandfather. I havent’ scrapped any of my school memories yet, but I might if I win this kit…LOL!!! It’s beautiful!

I loved 9th grade English with Mr. Dowd. He made it so much fun! He would dress up like a literary character and act out controversial scenes from books. His class was so much fun because you never knew what he was going to do next.

My favourite teacher was Miss McIntosh, a wonderful Scottish lady who could weave interesting tales out of any historical period, even the political stuff which wasn’t my favourite bit, I always wanted to listen and because she was so encouraging it made me work that little bit harder. She deserves remembering.

Hello to all… and again, thanks for the opportunity to comment. My favorite class was English. Being a second language for me, I found it so fascinating to be able to communicate in a different way… I loved it all… I was part of the English Club, and of course, most of the time, the English teacher was my favorite. I remember one teacher specifically who was so cool and really inspired students to learn, Mr. Lomena. I have never scrapbooked about this… I’m kind of a newbie yet scrappin’ more recent topics but I definitely have some things about my past pending to scrap, and this would be one of them.

My favorite teacher in elementary school was Mr. Bush. If we all finished our class work, he would take us outside to play kick ball or baseball or ??? That was a great motivator for everyone to finish their work.
In HS my favorite teacher was Mrs. Ash. I had her for many office classes. She was amazing, kind, supportive, yet still had high expectations for her students.

When I was growing up I loved to write. When I was a Freshman in HS I had an English teacher named Mr. Gouge who really encouraged and praised me, from then on I always loved my English classes. He inspired me to continue working harder ~ Amazing how praise can make you work harder. :)

My favorite subject was science & I have never scrapped it. My oldest just started middle school & it is bring back memories because her middle school has a bunch of teachers from mine (same district, just newer school). I’m sure I will be scrapping it eventually.

My favorite teacher was Mr. Mrak, my 5th grade teacher! My next favorite was actually my daughters last year 5th grade teacher. She was beyond amazing!

I had a lot of great teachers, but if I had to choose a favourite it would be my freshman year Physics teacher Dr Hunter. He was an awesome teacher, a great mentor and a very nice person!

As for my favourite subject in school – well I loved science and math. Of all the sciences and math though Physics tops the list – I know kind of strange but that is me. I really should scrap about it.

My favorite teacher was my 4th grade teacher. She recognized that four of us needed some enrichment and gave us special projects to do without making us stand-out from the rest of the class. She was sensitive to each child’s needs and read to us everyday. This was many, many years ago, but she made a big difference in my life.
