Yes!!! I do use sketches all the time and I LOVE THEM!!! (My own and others) If I don’t use a sketch, I’ll print out my pictures in the sizes I like of each and then move them around on the paper to where I would like them. From there, I “design” the page around them, placing things where they “fit”.

ALWAYS have a sketch as a starting point for a layout. I think it’s a real talent to adapt sketches and designs and make them your own! The internet is such a great resource for sketches and I have a file on my computer with many, many ideas for future layouts!

I love using sketches. For a time poor scrapper, they just provide the perfect starting point. No more procrastinating for me. :) I love that I can start with the sketch and take it in my own direction – the sketches totally free up my creativity which seems to be lost if I start without them.

I love sketches! I think the layout idea is the hardest part of a page. I like to pull one out of a big pile to challenge myself to do something new.

I find sketches so useful to jumpstart a page, and if you tweak them to your liking, it can turn out different and unique.

I admire people who use sketches and am really going to try to use them more often. My friend has a book and puts in all the ones she sees in magazines or online.

I love sketches! I have both Becky’s books and love the different sketches here and there on the internet. I do adapt them to my own standards. I then will change the amount of pics or something else.

I use sketches more now than I ever used to. I do sketch a lot on my own but there are times I enjoy using sketches from others as it saves a lot of time. I say, “Why reinvent the wheel, right?! I’ve gotten so used to using sketches that I struggle to do a layout without some kind of sketch in front of me. This class sounds very unique and definitely something I’d be interested in taking.

Sketching is always a great idea – but it sometimes doesn’t get done. Color is a real motivator for me. When I do use a sketch the end result is typically more elaborate than the plan – carried away could be my middle name.

I’m not very good at using sketches. I more often look at completed LO’s for inspiration. I guess I just haven’t learned how to use them.

I started using sketches about a year ago. They are so useful to jump start a page and get it started. I participated in sketch 101 and it was awesome. I was able to complete many pages with their sketches. The class was inspirational and offered great techniques as well.
