Speedlink Saturday for Week of July 20/08

Ashley Calder always adds her own creative spin to her pages making them all so unique.  Take a look at this one where she has rolled pattern paper and stuck it onto the layout.  Such an interesting look!  A thumbnail is shown at right.

Did you happen to see the paper cupcakes embellished with new Chatterbox products?  They were created by their Design Team for display at CHA.  One thumbnail photo shown at left.

Cheeky Magpie has a free digital download for some labels and shapes and guess what?  One of them is those people icons that we just mentioned in a trends post! While you are there, take a look at the hat pins and how she uses them on a layout.  Love those!

Look, more dinosaurs!  We must have missed this double-sided paper by 3 Bugs in a Rug in our trends post.

Marina Simakova has a nice beach project posted here.  Also, take a look at her CHA photos.  There are tonnes of them!

Here is a new challenge blog, Mixim!  It is in Hebrew, but even if you don’t speak the language you will be able to see some very inspiring scrapping works.  Love all the envelope projects done in a challenge by the Design Team. In the green/red/black picture, the Designer used CD envelopes to make a mini album, and she took photographs of neighborhood children behind a transparent plastic screen, so that it looks as though the kids are "squishing" on the envelope window. Also I love the fabric envelope!
