CHA Summer ’08 Trendwatch – Part 3

Previous posts for CHA trends this summer can be found here: Part 1 and Part 2.

Now for some more!

Silhouetted Man & Woman Icons:  Not sure what these are really called, but when you look at the images you’ll know what I mean.  They resemble the symbols used to designate womens’ and mens’ washrooms.  Maya Road had them last CHA Winter, Hambly has them as rub-ons, and now you can see them with some other manufacturers.

1. AccuCut "Woman & Man Icons" Dies, 2. Magistical Memories "Potty People" chipboard die cuts, 3. Maya Road "People Chipboard Books" (these are from CHA Winter ’08 actually) 4 Ranger Tim Holtz Idea-ology Grungeboard "Iconic." Note: Scenic Route also has a man and woman clear stamp.

Vintage Camping Trailers:  I have a certain amount of sentimentality towards these little travel trailers.  You see we own a real one – a 1972 Boler trailer.  I’ve included a picture of it.  We have a great time taking it camping.  Now, you know why these trailer images caught my attention!

1. Ranger Tim Holtz Idea-ology Grungeboard "Iconic." 2 & 3. Cosmo Cricket "Mr. Campy" collection.

Cameras: Love, Elsie had a camera-shaped chipboard album released with KI Memories last fall.

 1. Scenic Route clear stamp (prior release) 2. American Crafts, 3. Ranger Tim Holtz Idea-ology Grungeboard "IconicNote:  Hambly has vintage camera images in their new release but the photos don’t appear to be uploaded in their gallery yet.

Clouds: Remember Love, Elsie’s fabric/paper that was clouds?  There are so many more cloud images appearing.  Love the soothing feel of them…

1. Cosmo Cricket, 2. Pnk Paislee, 3. Sassafras Lass.

Besides the trends we’ve already mentioned, there are also matrushka dollsdecorative chipboard albums (Maya Road, Magistical Memories, Basic Grey, Cosmo Cricket, Luxe), bling (Maya Road, Prima, etc.), felt (Maya Road, KI Memories, etc.), office theme (Maya Road, Glitz, Jenni Bowlin) trees (Daisy Bucket, Sassafras, Art Warehouse, Glitz, Luxe, etc.), red&blue (My Mind’s Eye, etc.), deer (Sassafras Lass, etc.), birds (Hambly, Maya Road, Sassafras Lass, Art Warehouse, Luxe, My Mind’s Eye,Imaginisce, etc.).  Plus I’m sure there are more that you’ve noticed!
