Maybe you remember our post a little while ago about altering matchboxes. Here are a few more ideas that will inspire!
Nic Howard made the prettiest little altered matchbox with a sweet little butterfly on top. (Photo at right.) She made it using a recent Tarisota kit. It’s for her daughter and holds photographs.
Lisa Pace shows a matchbox that she decorated up for storing worries, dreams or wishes! Take a look here.
Incey Wincey made this one to store buttons. I also love this one which she simply decorated with a felt heart.

Here is another nicely altered matchbox, made by StampingRika.
DippyLuLu’s Etsy shop has some unique ideas using matchboxes as cards.
I love this idea by Sparklerama as she is selling in her Etsy shop here. (Photo shown at left.) It is covered in a map and features a handpainted scene inside and a little village too!
Patricia Hartnett has for sale in her Etsy shop this darling little matchbox "pixie" doll. (Photo at right.)
Shoestring Press sells matchbox mini books. Take a look at how cute they are here.
