I don’t know about you, but I love buttons. There is something so inspiring from seeing a jar filled with various sizes, shapes and colours of buttons. Here are some ways people store them:
Melissa Ann shows a wonderful photo of buttons that look to be in a printer’s tray. Photo at right.
Love how TheJoyOf has her buttons displayed in corked test tubes. See a photo here.
Blossom Hill Cottons has hers all in little jars complete with pretty labeling. See a photo here.
Look at all these ones, at left, belonging to Eileen Petre of SouptoKnits. All neatly organized!
Here is a great idea from Kelli Caslow. She stores her buttons by colour in a spice rack. Take a look here. Paola Luciano also stores her buttons in a spice rack. Photo shown at right.
These ones of JinnyBear’s are also nicely displayed. Photo of the jars in a wire rack is shown at left.
SlideGirl64 has hers in an old muffin tin. Take a look at her photo here.
Just Jussi shows a tin box with loads of buttons in it here.
What better way to finish off than with a photo of some beautiful vintage buttons still on their cards. Yo Kelley Yo has a few photos of them here.
I thought I had a lot of buttons but WOW. Eileen’s collection is especially impressive. Very cute ideas for organizing them too! Thanks for sharing.
