This time we’d like to hear about colours. Do you find yourself gravitating towards a particular colour in your scrapbooking projects? For me, it’s always green! Every shade of green, but mostly I like the olive greens and lime greens plus other rustic and vintage colours like browns and well… did I mention green!?

Normally I work with colors that coordinate with the photos I’m using but I’m currently working on baby books for my kids (better late than never right
) so lately it’s been pink and blue.
I like to work with different colors, I do have a lot of pink in my stash

you always have the greatest giveaways! i tend to use a lot of brown in my creations. i like to mix it up, though…brown and blue, brown and orange, etc! kraft paper is one ofmy craft obsessions!

Well, I saw an amazing layout last week using red and turquois. This morning I loved Diane Sawyer’s turquois earrings, so I think I am moving into a turquois phase.
I seem to be using a lot of greens myself. If not green then I am using brown, but then again I scrap for a boy.
I seem to be using a lot of subdued orange/blue and brown/blue combos. Not too bright.
I always seem to gravitate towards blue and I know it’s because I have a son who was in cub scouts. It was also his high school color and now it’s his college color!

I tend to gravitate toward greens but more the sage type greens, or yellow greens. I will occasionally use bright green but it is very occasional! I also seem to like to go with dark back grounds or white!

I use a lot of greens and browns with some blues and oranges mixed in. I have mainly been scrapbooking my sons race pictures – desert dirt bike races and those colors seem to work well.

I have 2 boys that are my scrap booking subjects, so I tend to lead torwards blues myself.
No doubt… turquoise and pink are almost always present in my layouts. Varying shades though.

It really depends on the album I am working in. If I am working in my wedding album, I use A LOT of red…and white. I just feel weird using any colours other than my wedding colours.
If it is my son’s album, I really like blues. And I’ve just barely started my daughter’s album, but I know that I will be using a lot of pinks. I know it’s typical, but I can’t pull myself away from that…lol

I seem to scrap with a love of browns and greens. And rust and goldish colors. Not what I use in any other situation of my life where I love brights and favorite color is purple. I go with more nature type colors when I scrap. Maybe it is having boys instead of girls

What a great contest! I took a look around the store and already see items I *need*. lol I find myself using alot of red when I scrapbook. I especially like deep, rich reds. And I love the look of red with a little bit of black & white. It just strikes me as looking classy.

I usually scrap in PINK coz i love pink so much..but it depends on the pic as well..if the main color of the pic shows blue i’ll opt blue and so on~

I’m not sure…with my Granddaughter and DIL to be I go for the suble shades of pink. With my boys I like the strong browns and blues. For fun I love the sherbert oranges, yellows, lime green. I just love all sorts of colors.
Seem i always use light colors right now no matter what colors..i don’t really mind as long as its soft ones..inspired by Melissa France hehe!!

I love red and blue, although I have been surprised how easy it has been to use some of the oranges and greens out there (like Scenic Route).
I love pink and black&white – but I never use them on LO-s… Sooo… maybeee… hmmm.. green? And yellow. And blue. Hmmm… I’ll try b&w and pink on my new minialbum.

Nope! I don’t think there is anything similar in color in my pages from one layout to the next! Sometimes I’m in a black-ie mood, sometimes brown-ie. Sometimes faded, sometimes bright and sometimes even pastels! Love all color – will play with every one!

I always use a bit of dark chocolate brown on my layouts no matter what other colors I use. I might use some brown cardstock or write my journalling in brown or use brown ink to distress my edges. It grounds the more lively colors and gives the eye somewhere to rest.
