The Crop Shop is located in Rockland, Massachusetts, nestled about halfway between the city of Boston and the peninsula of Cape Cod. Conveniently located just minutes from Route 3, The Crop Shop provides a great place to shop for the newest and best scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies, a perfect place to take all kinds of classes, and a spacious place to crop for just a night, or all weekend.
The owners of The Crop Shop, Dee Pierce and Colleen Prescott say, “This is more than just a retail store and classroom, it is a place where friends gather to relax and escape the structure of their busy everyday lives. Our Shop feels like the home of an old friend – welcoming, warm and inviting.”
The Crop Shop was established 3 years ago this May. Originally an online store The Crop Shop has grown to a 2200 square foot brick and mortar store as well as a large 400 square foot classroom and a custom scrapbooking business.
Take a look at the nice display of scrap projects in the photo shown at left. I think I spy a dress form too, how cute! I also love that altered wooden container in the middle of the top shelf. Looks like the ones that are available from Pottery Barn.
The classroom, Creation Destination, seats up to 24 croppers with lots of space for everyone… and their stuff! They also offer monthly kids’ classes and daytime classes during school vacations in their Kids Corner. Those cute colourful baskets on the table look to be the collapsible kind, perfect for individual garbage cans!
The Crop Shop hosts a variety of super events such as a huge National Scrapbook Day weekend crop… an annual bus tour… an annual yard sale… and much more!
Celebrity teachers can be sighted at The Crop Shop as well. In fact, next month, Jen Starr of Ranger Industries will be teaching 3 super classes including an All Day Ranger Extravaganza!
