Red Lead PaperWorks makes it’s home at 10041 Manchester Road in St. Louis, Missouri. The owners are Chris Schwartz and Sharon Wisely who are not only sisters, but best friends, and artful crafters as well. Red Lead was voted “the best place to buy scrapbooking supplies in St. Louis” by the St. Louis Riverfront Times.
Red Lead’s art has been published in the St. Louis Post Dispatch, Mary Englebreit Home Comapnion, as well as Stampington and Company Publications (Somerset Studio, Somerset Holiday, Altered Coutre, Sew Somerset, Take Ten). To see some of their art, take a look at the Mixed Media Gallery here.
Their slogan, “so much more than a scrapbook store,” makes perfect sense as Red Lead is known for their inspiring store samples, eclectic mix of collage trinkets, exclusive rubber stamps, papers, and artful workshops.
How pretty are those chunky white frames which are displaying rubber stamps! What a great idea! If you had these frames at home, you could also use them for displaying mini books. Did you also notice the background? Looks to be wallpapered with patterned paper.
