Last year we showed you these embroidery hoops with patterned fabric in them by Purl. Ana Cabrera made some pretty ones also for display above a window in her house. You can see them here.

iHanna has a tutorial up for some beautiful shabby chic magnets. They are made with pretty paper napkins decoupaged to chipboard. I imagine you could use patterned paper or fabric as well.

Creative Therapy is a new challenge blog which posts topics to create art (scrapbooking, photography, mixed media, etc.) as a therapeutic work. It is meant to encourage others to do the same so they can also feel the healing power of art. There is a talented team of designers also. Check them out here.

Another new challenge blog is called, The Design Experiment (a.k.a. “The DesignX”.) This blog focuses on the journaling behind the scrapbooking. A talented group of designers is part of this team as well. Click here to see for yourself.

Vicki Chrisman recently held a card challenge where she sent kits out to 20 ladies. She has posted their creations using the kits here. It’s interesting to see their individual takes in using the same materials.
