Scrapbooking Provision Resources

onehundredwishesgermanglassglitter.jpgHave you ever wondered where some scrapbookers and paper crafters get their unique embellishments and supplies? Also great for altered arts and mixed media supplies, these provisions can often be sourced from flea markets and small purveyors who sell one-off vintage goodies. Here are a few online finds for one-of-a-kind embellishments.

Blissful Provisions is an Etsy shop that has some beautiful provisions for paper crafting, scrapbooking and altered arts.

Papier Valise has “provisions for the creative journey.” There are so many lovely inspiring trinkets available like clear compasses, clear plastic pockets, watch crystals, and unique beads (see the pink frosted flowers below right). I love all the different lockets available like the envelope one which I’ve purchased in the past, and the mini antiqued frames. Also shown is a chartreuse pompom garland, below left.

Paper Relics is another great source for unique embellishments. I particularly love the Antique Paper Bundles, but you can also get collage sheets, clip art CD’s, and their own line of rubber stamps too. Shown below is “Wings II” collage sheet.

One Hundred Wishes is another provisions shop that you’ll want to check out for your paper crafting. This one is run by Andrea Singarella. Besides vintage paper goods, you can also get notions and other trinkets. There are vintage flash cards, raffle tickets (below left), pretty corsage pins (below right), gorgeous velvet ribbons, and the popular German Glass Glitter (above left).
