** This giveaway is now closed **

Shimelle Laine is giving away a place in her newest online class to a ScrapScene reader! Read through to the end for details on how to enter the giveaway draw. Here’s a little about Shimelle’s class.

There’s No Place Like Home ” is a five week long online class beginning on March 24th. Starting on that day, participants will receive 25 daily email prompts (weekends excluded). Each week has a theme with two bigger projects and three smaller projects. In total, you’ll receive detailed instructions for ten large projects and fifteen smaller creations. All twenty-five projects focus on the many definitions of home in your life. Participants are also invited to a private discussion forum and online chat party. For more information on this class, please click here.

To be entered in a random drawing for one spot in Shimelle’s class, please comment to this post. We would love to hear a little about your scrapping method. Do you scrap standing up or sitting down? Do you have more than one layout on the go at a time, or do you complete one before beginning another? Looking forward to your comments on this subject! We will keep this open until Friday, March 14th at midnight EST. One winner will be selected by an online random number generator and announced on Saturday morning!

I scrap sitting down and I’m always leaving LOs unfinished! If I get stuck I just want to go on to something else for a little while. Inspiration for that layout will come at a different time….I hope 🙂

Well, how do i scrap, i’ve never really thought about it before. i always have a chair and possibly spend most of the time with one leg/knee resting on the chair. i try to complete a project or layout before moving on, but am always thinking of what’s next! i finished my christmas journal last month and am ready to take on a new project which i feel will be great for my children to look back on. thanks Shimelle :)))

I scrap sitting down, unless I’m cutting with my paper trimmer, then I have to stand. I always have many layouts going because I like to go back after some time away and see what strikes me. There’s always something I think of later! Right now I scrap on the dining room table and when we need it , I pack everything up but usually I just leave
everything out. I do have a studio room but it’s filled
to the gills with paper, fabric, beads, embellishments and memorabilia. I just go in there to get stuff! My New Years resolution is to get it usable again. 🙂
This class with Shimelle sounds great!

I scrap whereever my kids are! It’s often difficult to spend time with them when I’m being creative but generally they want to get involved to…most often they just look through photos and play with my alphas! I’m a stander and a sitter!

I pretty much always sit down, but there is a great deal of standing up to check placement of elements. I have several projects going at once…..I think there are four mini albums and a layout incomplete as I write! I love the topic of this online class…it looks fantastic.

i sit and scrap – and if i’m using a ‘series’ of papers – i’ll create with them until they are gone – a couple of layouts, cards etc
then i clear everything off the desk – ready to start again with a new one !!!!
PS – I’d love a place in Shimelles class !!!!!

sometimes, I stand and sometimes I sit to scrapbook. I usually stand to get a good overall look at the layout and I also stand when I’m stamping.

I very rarely have more than one project on the go. I much prefer to finish one, then start on another. If I didn’t, I would end up with lots of ufo’s. lol
