Thought we’d link you up to a post we did last year showing some Valentine project links. They may be a year old, but they are still cute!
Also, I believe we posted a photo of this project (at left) awhile back as well. Here are a few details and some additional photos.
I made this garland using cardboard from an old box cut into heart shapes. I like the effect the corrugated gives to the project. Then using scraps of patterned paper, photos of our son, and text from an old book, the hearts were embellished. The Crop-a-Dile was used to punch holes in the sides and binder twine was inserted in the holes to connect the hearts to each other. More photos are shown below.
Don’t you just love these soldered heart-shaped charms? Shabby Cottage Boutique made them out of pink toile china.

Annette Scholtz made this cute Valentine banner (below). Here she describes how it was made:
Supplies Used:
Ledger paper from Prima, blue and red from MME, some MME rub ons, few ribbons – MME/ MM and Basic Grey, Heidi Swapp Alphas, butterfly from Martha Stewart Crafts, flower from Prima, brad from Karen Foster.
“The hearts were cut from a 6″ x 6″ template (so they could all be cut from one 12 ” x 12″ then placed on a 6″ x 7″). They were then decorated with rub-ons, stickers, flowers, butterfly and ribbon (one can also add some small photos.)”
Annette has posted more details on this project here.
Jill Brush shows her unique Valentine’s Day project here. It is a heart canvas.
