Wow, we are at day 9 of our handmade Valentine Card a Day posts, with much more to show you!  Caroline Lau, of Maya Road, made these adorable cupcakes!  Please read below for details on how to make them.  You can visit Caroline at her blog here and see more V-day cards here.

“I created these 3 cupcakes with the following:

1. Luxe Trinket Paper
2. Maya Road Office Sheers
3. Scenic Route Papers
4. Ink
5. Scallop scissors
6. Paper Crimper
7. Bling

Basically, you can take one of our (Maya Road) office sheers and cut them in half (take a round office sheer). Then scallop the flat edge. This will form the “iced” part of the cupcake.

Then I cut a trapezoid out of the patterned paper to create the cupcake liner.. I ran it through the crimper and inked the edges.

I glued the top of the cupcake to the cupcake liner.

Then I added a heart cut out of patterned paper or a sunburst with a bling. Each was inked.

That is it!”
