Today is day 8 of our Valentine Card a Day series. Hope you are getting some inspiring ideas from looking at all the cards! To see our past posted cards in this series, please click here. We made this card starting with a journaling tag from a free Jessica Sprague download, the same as we showed you here.
Supplies
Heart-shaped cutout cookie photos, 2 pieces of patterned paper, download (see below)
Tools
Paper trimmer or scissors, pinking shears, adhesive
Instructions
1. Download and print off a tag from Jessica Sprague‘s free digital scrapbooking kit here. You may want to print off several of these tags as we will be using them again as a base for other Valentines.
2. We printed the downloads on a Epson Stylus RX680 printer/scanner.
3. Cut out a rectangular tag from the digi kit. Also cut out two pieces of patterned paper to fit along one side of the card. Cut one edge with deco scissors (like pinking shears) and glue down, overlapping one another.
4. Take a photo of some heart shaped cookies and cut out the shapes to adhere to the top of the card. We actually used photos of cookies cut from a vintage cookbook!
5. Write your Valentine greeting on the back.
Stop by tomorrow to see day 9 of our Valentine Card a Day posts!
