lorirennvdaycard.JPGWelcome to Day 22 of our handmade Valentine Card a Day feature!  For past Valentine card ideas, please click here.

Today’s card was created by Lori Renn.  You can see more of her work here on her blog as well as some more of her beautiful cards at the bottom of this post.

Instructions:

All Supplies are from Making Memories except cardstock (Archiver’s) and ink (Ranger).

The patterned paper, chipboard hearts, flourishes, ribbon and sentiment sticker are from the Love Story collection.  The ledger notebook paper is from the Noteworthy journaling book.

1.  Cut dark red textured cardstock to 5.5 inches by 8.5 inches and fold in half.

2.  Distress the edges of plaid patterned paper with black ink.  Adhere to cardstock.

3.  Tear journaling paper out of Noteworthy book, cut and adhere to top left corner leaving the frayed edge on.

4.  Trim flowers from patterned paper and adhere to bottom left corner.

5.  Remove inner heart from the large chipboard heart and tie the cream lace ribbon onto the large heart.

6.  Place the smaller heart back into the larger heart and adhere to card.  Adhere remaining chipboard hearts, flourishes and sentiment sticker.  Trace around the sentiment with black pigment pen.
