Wow, there are so many cool projects for making your own Christmas advent calendar. I wish now that I had got started earlier on making one myself! We thought it worthwhile to link you to all the great handmade advent calendar finds we’ve come across as there are more and more popping up everywhere!
Kristin, from Memory Makers Books, blog shows a unique advent calendar she made on a wire shaped tree photo holder. She purchased the base from Pier 1 Imports. Check it out here.
Teresa Collins shows a cute advent calendar that her friend Gemm made for her. This one looks to be made from little tiny boxes attached together to form a tree shape.
You can see a photo of it above and learn more about it on Teresa’s blog here.
Cosmo Cricket shows a different take on an advent calendar. This one was made by Tami Comstock and is actually little notes of things to do printed on strips of paper looped together to form a chain. You can get a look at it here.
Katie Watson, of She’s Scrappy, has her cookie sheet advent calendar featured on the Making Memories blog. You can get a look at all the photos of it plus a tutorial here. One photo is shown above right.
