Have you seen Epson’s PictureMate Dash? This printer is a personal photo lab that you can have right in your own home. It is also small, lightweight and compact thus making it highly portable. Take a look at the photo below to get an idea of how small it is. You could easily take it to a crop or scrapbooking event and immediately be able to print photos you’ve just taken of your friends scrapbooking.
This printer allows you to conveniently print your own digital photos at home, and quickly. A 4″x6″ print will only take 37 seconds! You will no longer need to upload them to an online photo lab or take in your memory card or CD to be processed. This printer makes it so handy to do the job yourself. Perfect for those late night scrapping binges when the photo you want to scrap isn’t printed!
The PictureMate Dash has many features that make it a coveted printer! It is also very affordable with a suggested retail price of about $99 US.
There is an LCD screen which facilitates photo editing. You can print your photos in sizes up to 4″x6″ including wallet size and many other variations. You can also edit them prior to printing plus print in several colour variations such as black and white, colour or even sepia toned. You can even crop and remove red eye.
Another great feature about this printer is that you don’t even need to hook it up to your computer (although you can!). All that is required is to simply put in the photo cartridge, the paper and your memory card. Your photos will pop up on the screen for you to select which ones you would like to print and what features you’d like to use.
So, now you know why this is such a great gift idea for scrapbookers! I have plans to print out a family photo to insert in our Christmas cards this year. Plus I am printing wallet size photos of our newborn daughter for her baby announcements. I will have to post about these projects when they are finished. Now, back to my printing!
