Handmade Baby Cards (Part 1)

onesiecard.JPGYes, we’ve got baby cards on the mind – can you tell? This post will have another to follow along the same vein. These cards are mostly girly-themed ones.

Shown at right, we made a onesie for this card by cutting it out of a terry towel face cloth from the dollar store. Very easy to do in large quantities by cutting them all out at once. The button was handsewn on, but you could easily glue it to make an even quicker card up. Add a little glitter and you’re basically finished!

glitterflowercard.JPGThe next card is a dual-purpose card. It doesn’t have to be a baby card, but could be made into any other type of greeting card as well. We just used Ranger’s Stickles to outline the flowers on the patterned paper design.

Paper House shows a couple of sweet baby cards with a tutorial by Katja Kromann up on their blog here.
