Are you a beginner scrapper who gets overwhelmed by all the complicated layouts? Does your first layout consist of a 12 x 12 sheet of paper, a couple of embellishments, and an overwhelming sense of intimidation? Well, sometimes smaller is better. And, in the case of design for beginners, it can be much easier.
Gift tags are a super fun and easy way to start creating paper art. They are small and not quite as intimidating as a large sheet of paper. Plus, it’s easy and fast to do if you’re on a time constraint. The tags can be attached to a gift, or, depending on how fancy you get, given as a gift. Either way, before you know it you will be on your way to bigger and better things……like that 12 x 12 piece of paper you tossed in the closet!
Take a look at the photos shown which illustrate some examples for creating your own ‘mini- layouts’. To view more of Karin’s work, please visit her blog. To purchase your some ready made tags, visit Karin’s shop, “Icing on the Cake Studios.”
