Holiday Scrap Projects

staceykingmanjar.jpgAdditional holiday projects can be found here and here.

Here is a Christmas advent calendar that Standing on the Edge made using a cookie sheet as a base. Instructions can be found here.

Lain Ehmann, a Contributing Editor at Simple Scrapbooks Magazine and a Big Picture Scrapbooking instructor, is posting weekly holiday projects on her blog here. “Each project is a cute, cheap, quick Christmas/holiday gift idea,” Lain tells us. You can see the first project here.

Stacey Kingman has written on article for Fiskars here called, “Getting a Head Start on Holiday Crafting.” There are lots of projects that are perfect for this upcoming season including greeting cards, wrapping paper, gift jars and blocks. (One gift jar is shown above).

Heather Nichols shows some new holiday projects here. There are greeting cards plus a cute little gift bag for holding homeade goodies!

Thought you might like a link to an Advent Calendar I made last year for Donna Downey’s trash to treasure challenge: http://heatherjohnson.typepad.com/photos/christmas_advent_calendar/index.html

Tons of people loved it, and it really wasn’t hard to do — or expensive as you used toilet paper rolls! There are instructions in my blog as well. Great holiday project!
