Tasra Dawson has a new book out called, Real Women Scrap, which will inspire you to get back to your real reason for scrapbooking. If you haven’t heard of this book yet, when you take a look at it, you will be impressed and inspired by her theories surrounding scrapbooking. “Filled with practical tips, inspiring stories, and insightful strategies, this life-changing guide shows readers how to use key elements in scrapbooking to reconnect with themselves. ”

Real Women Scrap’s theme relates to the idea of scrapbooking the method that is real to you. The book releases you from the way you think you should scrapbook and gives you permission to scrap the way you want to. It puts the joy back into scrapbooking!

For example, if you are an organizer and are only scrapbooking because it gives you pleasure in feeling like you’ve accomplished something important in organizing your photos, then you should concentrate on scrapbooking simply. It’s all about your comfort zone.

It’s always a good idea to remind ourselves why we scrap, Angie. It’s so easy to get caught up in the whirl of challenges and layouts goals.
