Paper Crowns and Tiaras

Have you been inspired by the artful paper crowns and tiaras that have been appearing all over?andrea_singarella_art4.jpg They look like so much fun to create and it would be a great way to use up some of your scrap supplies.

Queenie13 has a crown posted here where she also describes that it was made with antique and vintage papers.

Andrea Singarella shows a paper crown she made here. Also a photo of it is shown at right.

You can see a Halloween collaged crown here by Debra of Hophopjingleboo. hellegreercrown.jpg

Helle Greer shows one of hers here. There is even a photo of her wearing it. I love that she also shows the back of her crown so we can see how it works (at left).

Marilyn Healey shows one of her crowns here.

holidayjennytiara.jpgJenny of Everyday is a Holiday, made such a pretty crown here. (One photo is shown at right).

Carol of Boxwood Cottage shows a beautiful crown here. Love how she’s displayed it on an antique doll’s head for the photo.

Everyday Cookies posted a tiara she made here.  Again, the back side of the crown is interesting to see everydaycookiestiara.jpg(photo at left).

You’ll notice that a lot of the crowns in this post were made for Teresa McFayden‘s birthday.  To see a full list of all the party hats made for her, check out Kimberly Kwan‘s post here with all the links.
