Some scrapbook supply packaging is just way too nice to throw out, don’t you agree? Think of those little tins that Prima has their flowers packaged in, or Queen & Co’s little cosmetic-inspired containers for their products. There are lots of creative things you can make with packaging. Here are a few ideas:
Kirsty Wiseman shows a great idea she had for using the packaging from Love, Elsie. You’d never guess that this mini book was made from it! (One photo is top left). Take a look here for more photos and a mini tutorial.
Kara Ward used the box packaging from Prima flowers to create this beautiful window box display item (at right). You can also see the flower bouquet that Kara made with the products here and here.

I am a Prima addict and I love their flowers as much as I do the packaging it comes with. To date, I still have to throw a single Prima container away as I can come up with so many ways and means of turning them to gifts! The recent one I did though wasn’t just a gift but a candy “jar” I made for my dad for Father’s Day. I stuffed it with colorful mints (my theme was: Cool Dad!) and made a “matching” dotted label with Chatterbox and a few coordinated embellies. Who said Prima can’t be for men? LOL.
