Silver Bella Interviews – Part 4!

silverbellalogo.jpgOver the last little while we have been posting mini interviews with the Silver Bella instructors, and here is the latest.  (The event is taking place November 9th and 10th in Omaha, Nebraska). How did you all get together for this event?

Like the other teachers, I was asked by Teresa, the talented heart of this whole event.  I was lucky enough to watch last years event come together, have a vendor table and take so many wonderful classes, so this year to be included with these amazing instructors is a true honor.

How would you describe your style?

I think my style is always changing a little bit because of new techniques or new products but adding a touch of vintage flair is something that I love to do.  Working with primary colors is hard for me so I guess you could say my heart and my true style is soft and shabby.

What one thing would you like for your students to take from your class(es)?

I’d like a student to leave my class wanting to run home and create more.  To be inspired by a class, a person or a technique is a feeling I know I love so I hope I am able to give that to someone else.

If you weren’t an artist/designer, what occupation would you be in?

I would love to be a stay-at-home-mom.  A stay-at-home-mom that did lots of crafts with her children of course!

What other hobbies are you involved in?

As for hobbies, I truly love to decorate my home and decorate at the store.  I also enjoy sitting outside in the sun reading a great book.

What snack food item do you always have on hand for those long creating sessions?

Mountain Dew is a must for me, I consider it to be my coffee, and a yummy Hershey with Almonds doesn’t hurt.
