The Challenge: Aspects of transparent artwork can often be seen in scrapbook layouts. Making a portion of your layout transparent can be done with pre-printed transparencies, stamped transparencies, mica tiles, microscope slides, packing tape transfers, acrylic frames, etc. If you can see through it, we will accept it as an entry. Be as creative as you would like – your entry can be a scrapbook layout, mini book, card, or altered item. It can be a brand new project or one that you have already made.

Inspiration: Need some inspiration? Take a look at some of these tutorials and artwork to give you some ideas.

How to Enter: Anyone residing in any country can enter up to 3 projects. To enter, email a photo of your project to us at [email protected] and we will post it up in our onsite contest gallery for you. By submitting, you agree to ScrapScene displaying your entry on our website. If you require us to take it down for a future submission elsewhere, please let us know and we will do so.  Take a look at our contest entries so far here.

Deadline: Deadline for all entries is Monday night, July 9th, 2007 11:59 p.m. EST. Once the deadline has been reached, we will select one winner based on creativity and overall appeal. On Thursday, July 12th, a winner will be announced.
