We are excited to be giving away one copy of Courtney Walsh’s new book, Scrapbooking Your Faith!
Here’s a quote we received from Courtney (from our previous post here) “I was able to work with eight amazing artists to watch this thing come to life, and I really just tried to write my heart. Now I’ve got something for future generations - they’ll never wonder what I believed in or who inspired me to live out my faith… it’s all there in my album!”
Courtney also was recently interviewed for an article in her local paper, which you can read here.
How does your faith or spirituality affect your scrapbooking? Have you scrapbooked your beliefs before?
To win the copy, leave a comment in this post before Saturday evening at 7 p.m. EST. We will have Lochlan draw for the winner!
Lovely book! I am looking forward to learning more about this really neat hobby!
I have recently started scrapbooking faith topics. I’ve started with some of the more challenging topics like how I deal with greed and temptation. Stuff that our pastor talks about in his sermons that I want to think about a little more on my own. And I want to scrap it so later I can look back and see how my beliefs and actions have changed… and then maybe I scrap it again for comparison!
Interesting book! Would love to learn from Courtney how to scrapbook on my faith ‘cos I have not done any though have been scrapbooking for more than a year.
This book looks great!
I find it difficult to scrap about my beliefs. Haven’t done it yet. So, maybe with this book?

Hello
Well faith has recently become something I yearn for and scrapbooking is my personal therapy these days…. I have been scrapbook many different topics dealing with my own personal development for a few weeks now… so this book would be such a blessing!!
What a springboard for some very inspiring and introspective layouts! Scrapbooking my faith is one thing I have not done or even thought about, but will definitely be on my to-do list now.
Sounds like a lovely book.
I do have a strong faith and enjoy scrapbooking about it or including Bible scriptures from time to time. I do visit Courtney’s blog and would enjoy winning her book. I actually have planned to buy it anyway, whether I win or not!
Thanks for the opportunity. Kim
Excited about this book! Saw it a few months ago and have thought about doing this–glad someone actually wrote about this worthwhile scrap topic!

I really like the idea of scrapbooking about my faith. Spirituality is such a big part of my life that it is only natural that it be part of my scrapbooks too. A legacy of gratitude
I recently scrapped a photo of my little nephew.
When he was born I was there with my brother and sister-in-law when the doctors told them that things were “touch and go” with little Kai. My faith kept me strong and I prayed for a miracle.
He had a lot of difficulties, one of which was not being able to walk. On Mother’s Day last year, 2006, he walked for the first time at age 3 1/2. We are truly blessed to have such a little miracle.
Everyday I say this to myself “Miracles Are For Those Who Believe!”. This is the quote that I put on my layout of my nephew - and the photo - well its of his first steps on Mother’s Day. I will always treasure this layout and am always truly grateful and thankful for “Our Little Miracle”……….luv Sandie
Yes, I’ve scrapbooked my beliefs. I think it helps me to think more clearly about what I believe and share those beliefs with others. I’ve done a couple layouts on the eternal nature of my relationship with my husband and son.
i would so LOVE to have this book! i have been struggling with scrapping my beliefs but want so badly to share them with my family and friends.
I am sure this book will be fabulous - filled with uplifting and fabulous layouts. Courtney is a wonderful person and wonderful scrapbook artist!!!!!!
I think this will be a very interesting book
I have never scrapped anything about my faith, I will have to check this book out and see if it can give me any insite into starting.
I honestly haven’t ever scrapbooked about my faith. And that saddens me. I’d love this book so I could learn an appropriate way to convey what my faith has meant to me & in my life.
I LOVE idea books and this one looks GREAT!
WOW!! I would love to win this one!!!!
Yes, I scrapbook my believes, my faith. I live because I still have them. I believe we are able create a better world, and scrapbooking my life helps me to do that.
Hope I could win this book, it looks to be amazing!
Esther
Yes, I scrapbook my faith - it is a part of my everyday life! Would love to win this book.
My beliefs, values and spirituality are an integral part of who I am. Therefore, they will inevitably come through in anything I create.
Best!
Lisa Mitchell
i love to scrapbook my faith on every layout
What an inspiring idea! I would love to have this book.
I’d love to see this book - thanks for writing something on such a worthwhile subject!

My faith is integral to who I am. Not every page that I scrap includes verses however all my pages have bits and peices of my life. My spirituality affects the decisions I make. You won’t see certain behaviors or characteristics from me. All sin and fall short of the glory of God so yes I scrap the good and the bad. But they mold me into who I am in Christ Jesus. The pages that I am doing right now are a landscape album of the Names of God that a yahoo group I am on has been doing called www.faithbasedpages.com.
I would love to have this book. I’ve been trying to incorporate faithbooking more into my albums
I have just started scrapbooking my faith in the last year and I would LOVE to get this book to see what she says about it and other ideas!
I heard this book is great!!!! I would love to be able to share this one with my scrapping buddies!
What a wonderful book! I would love to see those amazing artists.
I would love to win a copy of my dear friend’s book. Thanks for doing the book Courtney! And for being so inspirational
I’ve been scrapping my faith earnestly for the past year or so. I’ve always included my church related photos in my albums, but am now seeing my pages as a way to pass on my faith journey. I hope to begin a separate “Journey of Faith” album soon that would include my favorite verses, hymns, people who have mentored me.
Looks so lovely! I think I’ve never scrapbooked my faith, per se, but what a good idea!
I think my faith affects everything I do, including scrapbooking. I often or always have little symbols on my pages or the theme has a doubble meaning. Sometimes this symbols or themes are about the “spiritual part” of the journey. I havent been very explicit yet, cause I havent really found a way to do it. Maybe this book would be of help?
This would be a fantastic book to add to my collection!
This book sounds like the perfect book to present and study from in our newly forming “Faithbooking/Scrapbooking’ ministry at our church.!! I pray that the Lord provide us with this blessing to begin our journey of Faithbooking.
Theresa
I would love to get a copy of this book. I have had a lot of faith strengthening experiences lately; last one being loss of my 13 year old dog and would love to get some spritual inspiration. God is with me every day in my daily life. It would be so nice to put it down on paper.
I hope you pick me.
Looks like a really neat book! I would love to check it out. I would really like to scrapbook my faith and my struggles with faith, but don’t know where to start. It would be great to see some examples of how it has been done well!
I am so excited about this book. I have loved her work and read her first book! This one is sure to dazzle and inspire too.
Yes, I have scrapped my beliefs and about my spiritual walk. Every page is about my life and my family. I have pages of church events and everyday life that reflect our spiritual walk. Some pages are more in depth and some of my pages have a simple/single Bible verse to express how I feel. I am on a design team at Faith Based Pages that has helped me to bring out my Faith even more in my scrapbooks. This book looks wonderful and like a few others I plan to have this one on my shelf whether it comes as a win or not. ;o)
Would love to have this book, it looks really great!
As someone who has begun to embrace her faith, I can appreciate how scrapbooking one’s beliefs can be important. Thanks for this chance.
I recently attended a Faithbooking Bible Study at my church. This would be great additional inspiration to continue those ideas. Thanks!
I love her books. The first one is amazing. Can’t wait to peruse this one and learn more from her.
I try to incorporate my faith in as many of my layouts as possible. What an awesome idea for a book.
What a great idea, I hadn’t thought of something along these lines… I would love to see what kinds of inspiration and ideas the book has to offer. Thank you for opportunity to win.
Sure do!! We have a whole community of ladies encouraging each other to do just that scrap our faith!! Just love it & I find scrapping my faith has helped my faith to grow!! How awesome that God can use our hobby to develope our relationship with him
I have been faithbooking before faithbooking had a name! I have almost no believers in my extended family, but they love to look at photo-albums, so every page must make a statement of God’s Word. No matter what the subject, I can find a verse to go with it! I would love to see a family member come to know the Savior through my faithbooking. I teach it to other people who just “scrapbook” as much as possible. Taking the Word of God out of my faithbooks…well, they’d just be pictures without a soul.
I am interested in starting a faithbooking group at my church. My scrapbooks have always been, personally, a way I remember and share what the Lord has done in my life!
have really been waiting for something like this to come around because I am wanting to do more pages that reflect on my faith. So, Kudos!!
this is very cool
