Tattoo inspired scrapbook designs are taking the form of hearts with wings, skull and crossbones, cherubs, crowns, birds, plus many more images. They appear in patterned papers, transparencies, rub-ons, stamps and stickers.
Marah Johnson‘s tattoo inspired line of products, “Love Struck” (shown above left), with Creative Imaginations came out at
CHA Winter ’07 in January. From there, tattoo designs are popping up all over scrapbooking. Even in the digital scrapbooking world, there are tattoo elements. Check out this paper pack (at right) from Polka Dot Potato called, “Sweet Nothings,”
designed by Summer Simmonds. Hambly Screenprints has wings, butterflies and crowns on their “Wings” rub-ons designed by Kristina Contes.
Other scrapbook designers showing their love of tattoo inspired designs are Adrienne Looman, Rhonna Farrer and Elsie Flannigan.

Hmmn. I love scrapbooking and tattoos and I never noticed that trend until you pointed it out!
