Scrapalicious Crop

I went to a scrapbooking crop last week at Scrapalicious. We had such a great time: getting to know the rest of the Design Team gals, having pizza and M&M peanuts, and working on our own projects. I wasn’t very productive though… I only made two cards and covered a mini children’s book cover that my son had destroyed, but I still had fun! If you’re ever in the area (Mississauga, Ontario), Scrapalicious has such a huge inventory of scrapbooking supplies. They also carry a lot of products that we can’t find anywhere else locally.

Shown in the photo left to right are Jen, Mary, Virginia (behind), and Holly. Missing from the photo is Lancia and me.  Mary shared a tip with us:  she stores her x-acto knife in a plastic travel toothbrush holder.  She has a make-up sponge in the bottom to cover the holes so the blade won’t poke through.

Whoever invented crops anyway? It is such a great idea, for comraderie and friendship with like-minded people. Love it! I’d love to hear your crop experiences if you’d like to share. How often do you go? How productive are you?
