On a recent trip to Ireland, I was keeping an eye out for any scrapbooking related supplies. Other than the standard paper, scissors, stickers, etc., I didn’t find much in the way of embellishments or accents. I really didn’t spend much time in any of the larger cities, so perhaps that is why. However, there were some interesting office supplies that show a lot of potential for use on a layout.
Cloak Room Tickets. This tiny booklet contains numbers and a code on perforated tabs of paper. The numbers go up to 100. I thought they would be good for dates, ages, etc. on a layout or even on a collage. They could be altered or used as is. There is no information as to who makes these, but I bought them at a general store/convenience store in Northern Ireland. Here is a source in the UK plus there are some listed on eBay.
Manilla envelopes in various sizes seemed to be in all the office products stores, even the pound store, “Pound World.” I rarely saw white envelopes, like we use regularly in North America. These little envelopes would be great for pockets on a page or maybe even a mini book. These particular envelopes are made by “Lion Brand,” A John Dickinson product made in the U.K.
