Father’s Day Scrapbook Project Ideas from the Celebrities

Father’s Day is coming up very soon and some of our scrapbooking celebrities have created inspiring projects for the fathers in their lives.

Take a look at Ali Edward’s mini Father’s Day Album she created for her husband. It was a kit from Concroption. I especially like the little touch she used of adding the wording, “Limited Edition.” I thought that was a stamp at first, but when I asked her, she said it came from 7 Gypsies and it was a sticker from their Father sheet. You can view more images from Ali’s album here. (By the way, if you haven’t checked it out yet, Ali has begun a new blog entitled, “What is Your Happiness Today?”)

Heidi Swapp came up an interesting idea to package a pink checked tie for Dad. She made a cute little tag for it then encased it with the tie in between two pieces of acetate and sewed a zigzag stitch around the sides. She also smeared pink paint around the edges to finish it off. You can see the full project in Heidi’s June Newsletter.

Lisa Damrosch, an instructor at Big Picture Scrapbooking, created a cute coaster album which would be a great project for a Father’s Day gift. You can see the whole album here.
