Doodling has been growing in popularity. Elsie Flannigan takes her pen to paper and creates freehand right on her layouts. Check out the whole layout here.
If you’d rather have it ready-made, check out Basic Grey’s paper Gabardine, part of their “Urban Collection.” Here’s a great layout by Maryam Abdul posted in the Basic Grey gallery that uses this paper.
Hambly Screenprints make some beautiful papers that have a doodling-look about them also. This one is a clear overlay and it is called “Corner Vine.”
Heidi Swapp makes rubons that have a handrawn feel about them. Check out these fuzzy floral ones she uses on a layout:
If you’re a digital scrapbooker, Rhonna Farrer has gorgeous designs available from Two Peas in a Bucket. This one is a good example showing brushes that are swirls and flourishes.
